Designation :- Vice President-Operation
Qualification:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical/metallurgical engineering or equivalent.
Experience:-
i) 20+ years of experience in metal manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
ii) Proven expertise in copper metallurgy, rod and busbar production processes.
iii) Strong knowledge of ERP systems, automation, and quality frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:-
1. Manufacturing & Production Oversight:-
i) Lead end-to-end operations of copper rod casting, extrusion, drawing, and busbar fabrication.
ii) Ensure production targets are met with optimal quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
iii) Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM practices to drive efficiency.
2. Strategic Planning & Execution
i) Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals.
ii) Drive capacity planning, technology upgrades, and process automation.
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance:-
i) Enforce strict adherence to ISO, RoHS, and other relevant standards.
ii) Champion EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols across all facilities.
iii) Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
4. Supply Chain & Vendor Management:-
i) Oversee procurement of raw materials (copper cathodes, alloys, etc.) and consumables.
ii) Optimize inventory levels, logistics, and vendor relationships to reduce costs and improve reliability.
5. Team Leadership & Development:-
i) Build and mentor a high-performing operations team across shifts and departments.
ii) Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
6. Budgeting & Cost Control:-
i) Prepare and manage operational budgets, CAPEX plans, and cost-saving initiatives.
ii) Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions for variances.
